Community guidelines
Nosy Parker AI works because people ask in public and everyone gets the answer. Keep it useful, keep it fun, keep it kind.
Be curious, be kind
Ask what you genuinely want to know, and treat other people’s questions the same way: there are no silly questions here. Disagree with answers, not with people.
Ask like everyone’s reading
Every question, answer, comment and vote is public unless you ask anonymously. Don’t post anything about yourself or anyone else that you wouldn’t want strangers to read.
No personal details of other people: names with addresses, phone numbers, photos, workplaces or anything that could identify a private person.
What isn’t allowed
Explicit sexual content — never, not even marked 18+.
Harassment, hate, threats, or content that targets a person or group.
Instructions for violence, weapons, self-harm, crime or anything dangerous.
Spam, advertising, scams, and attempts to game votes or reactions.
18+ content
Rude humour and strong language are fine when the question is marked 18+. Our check marks questions automatically, and you can mark your own. 18+ questions are hidden unless a member switches “Show 18+ content” on.
The AI can be wrong
Answers are generated by AI. They can be inaccurate, outdated or simply wrong — vote, add a crowd answer, or comment when they are. For medical, legal or financial questions, talk to a professional.
Reporting
Use “Report” on any question, answer or comment. Moderators review reports and may hide content, change its rating, or suspend accounts that keep breaking these rules.
